Civil Litigation

What is Civil Litigation?

Legal proceedings can generally be divided between those which pertain to criminal cases and civil cases. Civil cases deal with civil matters. Civil matters are relationships between two or more people/parties like a marriage or a legal contract. Civil litigation matters deal with arbitrations, mediations, hearings, and trials. In these cases a plaintiff sues a defendant to recover damages done to them, usually through monetary means.

Civil Litigation matters usually deal with a breach of contract between two parties. For example a company/business and an individual/other business.

Both individuals and companies, defendants or plaintiffs, need to equip themselves with excellent legal representation to best defend their case. The McCoy Law Group can present your case with precision and expertise. Contact us today.
